What to expect
Expect to laugh and cry with our children. We are responsible for looking after children coming from difficult environments and have been placed into care. You will work in one of our residential children’s homes as part of a small professional team. You will need to be resilient and you will be tested at times. You will work on a shift pattern that includes nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

We support our staff to grow with us and develop. If you have no experience, we will support you in completing the level 4 Children and Young People’s workforce qualification. If you are looking to develop into a managerial role, we will support you in completing a level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management.

We recognise this is a challenging but rewarding job and we offer a competitive salary and employee benefits to show our appreciation for your hard work. You will be supported daily by a close team, a Trainee Registered Manager, Registered Manager, plus the Area Manager, the HR and Training Team and our mental well-being service.

Unity Care
Our homes are across the West Midlands around Stoke, Stafford and Telford. The homes are in urban, sub-urban, village and rural locations. The homes are modern and well furnished, with gardens and ample parking. The children and young people we care for enjoy a homely environment and also have access to local amenities
The Place Residential Care
Our homes are in Leicestershire and Lincolnshire, near to Grantham, Nottingham and Leicester. Set in rural settings in spacious farmhouses; the homes are well furnished, with gardens and ample parking. The children and young people we care for enjoy a homely environment and also have access to local amenities.
