Welcome to our Therapy Services YP-MATS (Young People’s Multi-Disciplinary Assessment & Therapy Services).
Our vision is to enable children and young people with complex multifaceted problems to be assessed and help reconstruct their lives in a safe, caring, professionally facilitated environment; whilst putting them at the heart of their care provision. We offer a tailored therapeutic package specific to each child’s therapeutic needs. We offer a therapy only package and a complete assessment package. These packages can be commissioned alongside the children’s care packages.

What is YP-MATS?
The Young Peoples Multi-Disciplinary Assessment and Therapy Services (YP-MATS) is a team that brings together the expertise and skills of different professionals to assess, plan and manage the therapy jointly of our young people. This process works to ensure that every young person is given access to the most effective options for them therapeutically.
At YP-MATS we believe that properly timed clinical and therapeutic interventions can transform a young person’s life and above all we believe that young people can start to make healthy choices with a new level of maturity and understanding.

Why The Need For YP-MATS?

Our team
We place a strong emphasis on the multi-disciplinary team approach and young people’s therapy plans are agreed with the input of all our team members both clinical and non-clinical.
We work with a range of Chartered Clinical & Forensic Psychologists, & Psychiatrists. We also work with Occupational therapists, play therapists, psychotherapists, CAMHS nursing specialists, family, & art, therapists, to establish the most effective and appropriate person to work with each child.
