The Place Independent School

The Place Independent School is an independent SEND school operating on two sites based in the beautiful countryside of Bottesford and Barkstone. Offering places to children in Year 3 up to Year 13. The school offers a college and utilises the benefits of outdoor learning and the therapeutic support our of school animals including, alpacas, rescue ponies, pigs, sheep, goat, ducks, hamster, rabbit, a cat and chickens. Class sizes are small, offer support for one-to-one with no more than eight young people per class with specialised teachers and experienced support staff. This ensures that all young people feel safe and not overwhelmed.
